Transportation manufacturer Severn Lamb has unveiled their latest creation: A replica steam locomotive.

The train has been built in Warwickshire and shipped across the Atlantic to be home to an open-air museum railroad project.

The ¾ scale steam outline locomotive comes with a full battery electric tender and two classic period styles.

The steam locomotive will cater to 80 passenger coaches and be located at Carillon Historical Park, Dayton, Ohio.

Severn Lamb exclaims that “This is a unique chance to see our creation up close and personal, joining us in celebration as we showcase this build.”

Their latest creation also has the environment in mind, as Severn Lamb points out:

“This project blends the classic beauty of a traditional steam train with cutting-edge technology to create a sustainable and eco-friendly solution for our client and we couldn’t be more excited for you to see the project in all its glory prior to it leaving our factory doors on its journey across the pond.”

The engine has taken 18 months to produce and adds to the legacy of Seven Lamb, who continues to serve the amusement and theme park industry by producing all types of trains around the world.

Much like a train, the vehicle keeps chugging on and Severn Lamb has signed an agreement for the deliverance of two trains to a theme park in Mexico.
