Six Flags Over Texas, home of the Biggest Thrills in Texas, has unveiled more details about this year's expansion of its children's area.

The all-new area, Bugs Bunny Boomtown, will feature a host of new adventures and enhancements, designed especially for the park's younger guests.

"Families are at the core of everything we do," said Steve Martindale, Six Flags Over Texas park president. "We pride ourselves on offering thrills for all ages and we look forward to having these new rides and attractions provide wonderful memories for youngsters and their parents for years and years to come."

At the heart of Bugs Bunny Boomtown, young thrill-seekers will find the Looney Tunes Adventure Camp – an interactive play structure where kids can climb, slide and discover fun surprises. Taz Tornado will have children spinning as they twirl above the park in pint-sized swings, and they will also enjoy seeking new heights on Bugs Bunny Cloud Bouncer.

Marvin the Martian Space Rockets offer the perfect flight for future air-travellers as they climb aboard custom-designed rocket ships that let them control their own flight patterns. Meanwhile, Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters gets everyone engaged in a fun water battle as riders spin round and round in water barrels, splashing anyone within reach.

Set to open in the spring, Bugs Bunny Boomtown will feature fresh, new colours and theming, along with ample seating and shaded areas for moms, dads and grandparents to enjoy.
