Maurer Rides have unveiled a futuristic roller coaster, named The Omega.

“The Omega symbolises a gateway to another world. Step through it and experience a unique adventure in a new dimension,” exclaimed a spokesperson for Maurer Rides, a leader in designer and manufacturer of roller coasters and transport solutions.

The manufactures will showcase The Omega at the upcoming IAAPA Expo in Orlando next month.

The vibrant roller-coaster has many nifty elements and three record-breaking features, including the world’s first Omega Loop figure, the world’s first powered roller coaster train for inversions and the world’s first roller coaster with interactive Spike tilt seats.

The attraction will also have energy recovery through recuperation and aiding its voyage will be a program-controlled change of varying speeds and accelerations.

The tale of the tape for The Omega reads a height of 35m (115ft.) and reaching speeds of 70km/h (43mph). Through that acceleration, passengers will sample a stirring 1.0 g-force.

There will be five carriages in total whizzing around the track making for capacity of 1000 people per hour.

Maurer Rides are naturally excited about their latest product. They state that passengers on-board will ‘shoot through the Omega with your crew and dynamically experience new manoeuvres that previously seemed impossible.’

The wonders of technology present with The Omega.
