Qiddiya City in Saudi Arabia will open its flagship Aquarabia Water Park during the Eid Al Fitr holidays, with the debut scheduled from 19 March 2026.
The park is the second major attraction for the destination, following the planned opening of Six Flags Qiddiya on 31 December 2025. Abdullah Al‑Dawood, managing director of Qiddiya Investment Company, has said the project forms part of a rollout that will see new attractions added roughly every quarter as the city grows.
Aquarabia occupies the Al Moqbel Palaces site on the edge of the Tuwaiq Mountains, around 45km from central Riyadh and 70km from King Khalid International Airport. The water park covers about 250,000sqm and features nine themed zones, 22 rides and attractions, and more than 20 food and retail outlets. Signature elements include Surftopia, described as Saudi Arabia’s first surf pool, and Junoon Drop, promoted as one of the world’s tallest and longest water coasters. Slithereel is presented as a record slide wheel, with Speedy Jamezales marketed as a landmark aqualoop installation.
The mix blends high‑thrill slides with dry attractions, live shows and immersive spaces inspired by Saudi landscapes such as Wave Wadi, Camel Rock and Surf Lagoon. Qiddiya highlights water recycling, energy‑efficient systems and AI‑enabled safety as key design pillars, alongside integrated pedestrian, cycling and EV‑ready parking infrastructure.
