Parque Reunidos and United Nations continue to forge links as part of the UN Global Compact initiative and 2030 Agenda.
“We continue strengthening our commitment to the United Nations Global Compact and the 2030 Agenda through a strategic and science-based approach to climate action,” stated a spokesperson for Parque Reunidos.
“Our climate plan, now featured in the UN Global Compact Case Library, outlines how we are working to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and value chain in all our parks worldwide.”
Parque Reunidos detailed their vision for aiding climate preservation with a ‘robust plan to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions through energy efficiency, operational improvements, and the transition to renewable energy.’
Moreover, the company will ‘concrete actions to address Scope 3 emissions, engaging suppliers and partners to drive positive change beyond our direct operations.’
“These efforts reflect our long-term vision: embedding sustainability into every aspect of our business, from park operations and energy use to waste reduction and responsible resource management,” explained Parque Reunidos.
“Being part of the UN Global Compact case library highlights the relevance of our work and reinforces our responsibility to contribute to global climate goals.”
