The Van Gogh Museum and DHL Express have united together for a unique partnership to create the ‘Heart for Art’.

A contemporary education programme will inspire and educate children on the importance of art as well as the life and times or the famous Dutch painter, Vincent Van Gogh.

A pilot programme in New York last spring was established. It is expected the programme will serve 20,000 students in the first school year.

In addition, the programme will commence in American cities before expanding globally.

Upon making the announcement, Mike Parra, CEO of DHL Express America commented: “We are proud that we are able to leverage our network to help develop and inspire the lives of young children.

“Together with the Van Gogh Museum, we provide a platform that empowers children to become more creative and learn more about art, helping us live our purpose by delivering a better world; ‘Connecting People. Improving Lives’.”
