Kennywood has launched a new ride with alien theming, dubbed Spinvasion.
Spinvasion was built in Italy by the Zamperla company and is the only ride of its kind in the whole of America.
Kennywood state that visitors will be “put in the middle of the Battle for the ‘Burgh!” and to “board your spacecraft for a thrilling flight as your race parallel to the ground and crisscross up and down with other pilots to defend the city from alien invaders.”
The ride will feature as part of the Area 412 section of the park, home to the already open Cosmic Chaos attraction and fitted with a gift shop and restaurant.
The ‘out-of-this-world experience’ as Kennywood as billing it opened to the public on Memorial Day weekend and is a big part of Kennywood 125th anniversary celebrations, which kicked off on 22 April.
