Busch Gardens Williamsburg enhancement for Loch Ness Monster

Valhalla returned this May to transport riders on a breathtaking adventure and the behind-the-scenes reimagining has been acknowledged by winning the Golden Ticket Award, presented by Amusement Today.

The park scooped the Best Water Ride award and gives a fitting accolade to a ride that was created in 2000.

Valhalla has received notable enhancements on its lighting, sound and technical effects as well as being more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

It has been a busy start to the week for the park which published photos on its X page, formerly known as Twitter, detailing scaffolding work to enlarge the Big One roller coaster by 2ft, making it 237ft in total.

It is believed the remodeled lift hill is due to Blackpool Pleasure Beach aiming to keep its tag with the UK’s highest Roller Coaster, reacting to Thorpe Park’s construction of what is known currently as ‘Project Exodus,’ tipped to top out at 236ft and currently beat the Big One by a foot.
