A popular ride at Cadbury World is set to be retired. Cadabra will enjoy one final ride, bringing an end to 27 years to entertaining service.

And to commemorate the moment, Cadabra’s Chuckle Beans, which feature throughout the ride, are to be given away to guests who submit their best memories of Cadbury World to the Cadbury World website

Guests will have their last chance to see the beans in action in their current setting on the Cadabra ride before it closes and is replaced with the recently announced new immersive chocolatey ride Cadbury Chocolate Quest in the Spring.

Tim Waters, Regional Director at Merlin Entertainments, explains: “Our much-loved Cadabra ride brings so much nostalgia and is a fond memory for many people who have visited Cadbury World over the years. The Chuckle Beans have been in service since 1997 and we are very happy they will be going to good retirement homes for some much-deserved R&R!

“The re-homing project is the perfect opportunity for us to give back to loyal guests who have enjoyed visiting the attraction and riding Cadabra over the years.

“Whilst Cadabra will be missed, we can’t wait for our guests to experience and find a new love for our amazing Cadbury Chocolate Quest ride, which will be packed full of chocolatey surprises when it opens later this Spring!”

Cadabra was ridden more than 14 million guests during its service, including famous faces such as The Princess Royal, Adele and Gwyneth Paltrow.

The new trackless indoor ride forms part of a wider £8 million investment in Cadbury World by Merlin Entertainments which will be rolled out over the course of this year.
