Emerald Park has revealed a fun Easter egg hunt as well as a dino event.

Dino Roar will be an interactive dinosaur meet and greet event held from Saturday, March 23 

to Friday, March 29, where guests can journey back to the Jurassic ages and enjoy dino-themed activities for all ages.

General Manager of Emerald Park, Charles Coyle said of the event: ‘We’re delighted to be re-opening our doors to guests and we look forward to welcoming families of all ages for the ultimate day out over midterm break with the ‘Dino Roar’ experience. 

“2024 is set to be our biggest season yet with the opening of our Tír Na nÓg land later this year and we look forward to revealing some exciting updates soon.”

Easter will also be lucky for four visitors who will have the chance to win four All Access tickets to the opening of Tír Na nÓg, Emerald Park’s first fully themed and immersive land, opening this summer.

The Celtic land will include two new roller coasters which are engineered and designed by Dutch manufacturing company Vekoma.

The larger rollercoaster will be a Suspended Thrill Coaster with its highest track point of 104ft (32-metres) and will fly around at speeds of 56mph (90km/h).

The second coaster will be a Family Boomerang, offering a more family friendly riding experience. It will top out at 82ft (25-metres) and have a top speed of 37mph (60km/h).

As well as the attractions, visitors can enjoy Emerald Park’s Zoo, which is home to more than 250 animals, from Amur Tigers, Ring-Tailed Lemurs and Mountain Lions to a plethora of birds of prey.
