An official date has been set for the opening of Rulantica, Europa-Park’s highly-awaited Nordic themed waterpark.

The huge new waterpark development is to open on November 28, 2019.

The flamboyant Nordic-themed water world will comprise of nine different themed areas, known as the Skip Stand, Rangnakor, Vildstrøm, Trølldal, Lumåfals, Snorri’s Saga, Frigg Tempel, Skog Lagoon and Vinterhal.

Designed to take water fun to a “whole new level,” Rulantica will have a total of 25 attractions, including 17 spectacular water slides, a relaxing “mystery River”, and the biggest wave pool in Germany.

The themed areas will all feature their own unique water attractions, including a gigantic glacier cave, a sea snake made of ice, a ‘Tornado Wave’, a large water playground for young children, climbing and play areas, a wild river, a city on stilts, numerous cabanas, swim up bars, a waterfall, restaurants and much more.

Rulantica will also be home to Europa-Park’s sixth themed hotel. Known as the Krønasår, the exclusive hotel comprises of 304 themed rooms and suites, accommodating 1,300 guests.
