Warner Bros. Studio Japan is set to open a Harry Potter-themed attraction brought to life by the worldwide hit movie series in Japan.

The Harry Potter Theme Park will open on June 16 and will be the company’s second Harry Potter attraction, and the first in Asia.

Tokyo Park will take visitors through the production of the Fantastic Beasts series. And the story remains faithful with Harry getting to know Ron on Platform 9 3/4, from which they board the Hogwarts Express, a train that takes them to the world of wizardry. Visitors to the park can board a version of the magical train.

“We want to create a facility with an international flavor that can meet foreign visitors’ expectations, to follow on from the Tokyo Olympics,” said WBSJ Vice President Toshihiro Matsuo.

Warner Bros. Studio opened recently the Studio Tour Tokyo to the media. The facility, which is the two-story steel-frame facility, is still under construction and covers 90,000 sq.m.
