Testimony of how the attractions industry is moving forward, the IAPPA, the international association for the industry, is hosting a physical event in Barcelona this September.

Industry professionals will have the chance to network, buy and learn from keynote speakers at the conference.

IAPPA president and CEO Hal McEvoy, spoke of the difficulties of the last 18 months and how the sector is recovering: “This past year has been unlike any other our industry has ever encountered.

“Members have been looking to us to help them push forward so guests around the world can safely return to the fun we are known for. The best way we can do this is by bringing the industry together for our global Expos. No matter what stage of reopening, re-emerging or recovery members are in, they will be able to find inspiration, solutions and new connections in Barcelona,” McEvoy added.

The conference is taking place at Fira Barcelona Gran Via. It will focus on helping professionals reinvent, restart and reconnect.

The event is being held on September 27 to 30 and the tradeshow floor and additional education programmes will be available on September 28 to 30.
