“Riders will experience airtime, speed changes, a sharp drop and unexpected acceleration on a total of 670-meters (2211-metres) of track with a top speed of 47.8mph (77 km/h).

“The Storm Coaster which wraps around the entire building it’s housed in, will surely delight all thrill seekers.”

And now, this feature is available for all of Intamin’s. As part of the ride’s make-up, Intamin offer the ride as a vertical launch or lift setting.

Furthermore, other ride features include panoramic top hat with anticipation stall possible, a launch directly into the first (inverted) ride elements.

The ride is combinable with single-, multi- or swing-launch-sections.

In addition, riders can ride in comfort with state-of-the-art trains and comfortable restraint system ‘for maximum freedom.’

The technical data of Intamin’s vertical launch system has the coaster reaching a vertical launch speed of up to 25.5mph (41 km/h).

Meanwhile, it will consist of a top speed of up to 62.14mph (110 km/h), a height of up to 51-metres (167ft) and a track length of up to 1058-metres (3471ft), depending on which type of coaster is selected from Intamin’s list of designs.

The vertical launch system created by Intamin represents blast off for a new era of roller coaster technology.
