Kings Dominion, the waterpark and amusement park in West Virginia, has announced its official opening date, alongside a calendar of special events for the 2022 season.
The theme park will commence its 48th season on March 12. The park will open with a new Jungle X-themed area, featuring Tumbili, the first 4D spin coaster in West Virginia.
Visitors will also be able to experience much-loved events returning to Kings Dominion, including the Grand Carnivale, Halloween Haunt and Winterfest. A new addition to this year’s events calendar will be the all-new Trick and Treats Fall Fest.
The Grand Carnivale is taking place from June 20 to July 10. This international festival boasts food from around the world, a spectacular parade, fun traditions and much more.
Halloween Haunt is running from September 23 to October 30 and will feature scare zones, live shows, haunted mazes and thrill rides.
The new Trick and Treats Fall Fest will provide scary fun for all ages, with unique autumn activities, speciality food and drink, musical entertainment, games and shows, and more.
The WinterFest will run from November 18 to January 1. It will see the theme park transform into a winter wonderland with special holiday decorations, entertainment and holiday experience and surprises for the whole family.
