OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark is a $400 million destination that is redefining entertainment in Oklahoma City thanks to Aquatic Development Group, ADG.

ADG played a pivotal role in shaping this premier destination, ensuring an immersive, cohesive, and fun experience for guests.

Besides, the water design and build company oversaw the entire project and the design/build firm for the 100,000-square-foot indoor waterpark and 4.5-acre outdoor adventure lagoon.

The tourism destinations caters for a luxury 404-room hotel, multiple dining establishments, a state-of-the-art family entertainment centre, and world-class water attractions.

World class entertainment destination

ADG forged a successful partnership with the Chickasaw Nation and the OKANA team. This lead to the opening of OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark represents a game-changing moment for Oklahoma City’s tourism industry.

Therefore, ADG was instrumental in ensuring that OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark delivered a world class experience.

The indoor waterpark, the largest in the region, features thrill slides, a 6,200 square-foot wave pool, a 420-foot lazy river, a sheet wave, luxury cabanas, and an adult-only pool, catering to visitors of all ages.

Meanwhile, the outdoor adventure lagoon, set to open in summer 2025, provides an expansive recreational area with body slides, an inflatable obstacle course, a swim-up bar, and a unique “fly” pool where guests can zip, jump, and slide into the water.

The Blueprint of ADG

From concept to completion, ADG’s expertise extended beyond design and construction. ADG guided the budgeting, planning, and execution of this large-scale project, ensuring the delivery of all aspects both on time and within scope.

The projects’ key contributions included concept development, construction management – ADG oversaw all facets of the waterpark and adventure lagoon’s construction, from foundational work to the installation of all implemented water attractions.

Moreover, ADG’s incorporated industry-leading WaveTek wave generation equipment and water attractions to enhance the guest experience, ensuring a mix of activities for all guests to enjoy.

And ADG provided its Developer Support Program in which clients receive end-to-end assistance in master planning, budgeting, and ensuring smallest details come to fruition.
