Adventureland Resort has given life to an all-new water slide experience: ‘Hyperlight’
The newest addition to Adventure Bay, Hyperlight ‘electrifies the park’s Typhoon water slide, adding vivid lights, dynamic sounds and new thrills.’
The Grand Opening festivities celebrated the launch of Hyperlight with a treat for the first 1,000 guests. Free Hyperlight branded swag and the chance to be among the first to ride the recharged attraction.
The park, in partnership with children from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa (BBBSIA) hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony ahead of the very first ride.
“We’re always looking for new ways to amp up the fun at Adventureland. And Hyperlight does exactly that,” said Mike Lusky, General Manager of Adventureland Resort.
“We’re proud to debut this all-new, electrifying experience with our partners at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa. We can’t wait for guests to experience the upgraded slide this Saturday. It’s the perfect way to kick off a summer full of unforgettable moments at Adventureland.”
Hyperlight harnesses all-new full sensory experience
This Adventure Bay water slide now enjoys a fresh enhancement and is ‘ready to rock’ with iSlide technology. The all-new experience, Hyperlight, will include ‘out of this world colour changing lights and lasers and dynamic surround sound that will transform the water slide into an all-new full sensory experience.’
With several different combinations of laser lights and sound to choose from, no two rides are the same on Hyperlight.
“Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa is thrilled to partner with Adventureland to celebrate the grand opening of the new Hyperlight water slide,” said BBBSIA CEO- Bridget Cravens-Neely.
