Alterface has launched its first Action League Popcorn Revenge in China, located at Suzhou Paradise Forest World.

Recognised with the 2021 IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best New Product Concept, Action League offers an innovative, multi-round interactive experience. Guests form teams and compete in a series of exciting challenges, while the dynamic rotation system keeps the action engaging by shuffling teams between rounds, making each match a unique occasion.

“This innovative compact attraction combines competitive gameplay with dynamic multi-axis rotation and is specifically designed for Family Entertainment Centres and Location-Based Entertainment (LBE) venues,” emphasises Alterface.

“Offering a space-efficient, cost-effective solution, the attraction maintains high levels of interactivity and throughput, accommodating 240-360 guests per hour within its 200m² footprint.

“A true highlight of the attraction is its unique, tournament-style gameplay and the beloved Popcorn Revenge IP, which is already a fan favourite across Europe and Japan.

“Its unique mix of humour, action, and friendly competition makes it a must-try experience for visitors of all ages.”

This Popcorn Revenge Compact Edition of Action League perfectly caters for LBE’s venues, making it a welcome addition to Candy World, the three-story indoor entertainment zone at Suzhou Paradise Forest World.

Action League Popcorn Revenge takes centre stage as semi-open layout increases visibility, drawing in curious visitors to join the fun. The theming has been specially adapted to blend seamlessly with the vibrant and colourful aesthetic of Candy World, embracing bold pink tones and eye-catching details.

The launch of Action League Popcorn Revenge is the result of a strong partnership between Alterface and Jiangsu Boren Culture Technology. This collaboration combines “Alterface’s expertise in interactivity with Boren’s deep understanding of the Chinese market, ensuring an attraction tailored to local audiences.”

“Our partnership with Boren has been instrumental in bringing Action League to life in China,” says Stephane Battaille, CEO of Alterface.

“Through this collaborative approach, we’ve delivered a world-first attraction, and we’re excited to see its potential for replication in markets around the globe.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Gu, CEO of Boren, adds: “This collaboration has demonstrated the true power of teamwork. We are confident this project will provide endless fun for visitors at Candy World, and we look forward to its expansion to more locations.”
