The Taiwanese ride manufacturer debuts a 360-degree motion theatre system bound for Vietnam and announces a licensed flying theatre experience with Toho Global.
Brogent Technologies Inc. used IAAPA Expo Asia 2026 to launch its most ambitious product slate to date, unveiling the R-Ride motion theatre system and confirming five new attraction projects across Southeast Asia, alongside a licensed collaboration with Japan’s Toho Global Inc.
The R-Ride is a 360-degree motion theatre combining panoramic screen projection, motion seating and a full rotational platform operating at 8 RPM. The first installation is confirmed for VinWonders in Vietnam, with an opening target of Q4 2027. Alongside R-Ride, Brogent presented four additional attraction formats for VinWonders: the o-Ride Flying Theater, the v-Ride 360 Motion Theater – a hot-air balloon simulation – the v-Ride Vessel, a 100-seat sea adventure platform, and a Planetarium Theater.
The Toho partnership produces the most commercially significant announcement from the show. Brogent and Toho Global Inc. have developed GODZILLA THE RIDE: GREAT CLASH, a licensed flying theatre experience written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki — who won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for Godzilla Minus One at the 96th Academy Awards in 2024. The film is now available for operator licensing.
Brogent also expanded its Volare Over Earth flying theatre content series. Following Africa, the catalogue now includes Japan, produced in co-operation with Japanese public broadcaster NHK; Niagara, an aerial journey over the falls and surrounding landscape; and Switzerland, which spans alpine terrain, lake regions and extreme sports locations. The series now runs to 12 planned episodes.
The NHK co-production behind Japan signals a shift toward institutional content partnerships. The film explores the relationship between landscape and culture, examining how water and wind shape cycles of life and human experience. Brogent is positioning the series as a licensable content library for operators seeking regular film rotation.
Brogent’s Southeast Asian pipeline reflects growing market confidence in Vietnam specifically, with VinWonders acting as the anchor client across multiple formats simultaneously. The breadth of formats – from planetarium to high-rotation motion theatre – also signals the company’s move toward positioning itself as a multi-format turnkey supplier rather than a specialist flying theatre manufacturer.
