On April 18, 2025, China Resources Land and Chimelong Group officially held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Guangzhou Chimelong Mixc Commercial project, located in the Panyu district of Guangzhou, China. The event, themed “Chimelong is from here to Vientiane,” marks the commencement of a major integrated commercial and tourism development.
In April 2023, China Resources Land and Chimelong Group jointly secured the Chimelong Wanbo China Resources Land Center project, acquiring the land at a total cost of 19.7 billion yuan. The new Guangzhou Chimelong Mixc Commercial project represents a significant investment exceeding 30 billion yuan.
This landmark development leverages the strengths of China Resources Land’s extensive experience in commercial real estate and retail operations and Chimelong Group’s established expertise in cultural and tourism attractions. Together, the two companies aim to create an innovative, cross-industry complex that will integrate culture, commerce, tourism, and consumer experiences into a vibrant, world-class destination.
