Alterface Technologies has launched a magical new attraction, Cinnamoroll’s Little Big Adventure, at the Discovery Theater in Sanrio Puroland, Tokyo. This innovative experience marks a first for Asia with its use of synchronized theaters to deliver interactive gameplay and immersive special effects, delighting fans of the beloved Cinnamoroll character.

Cinnamoroll’s Little Big Adventure invites guests to join Cinnamoroll on a thrilling 5-minute journey through the sky. Riders chase rainbows and navigate obstacles, all while engaging with interactive elements that enhance the adventure. The attraction, Puroland’s first major addition in over ten years, combines storytelling with audience participation to foster a deep emotional connection with guests.

Stéphane Battaille, CEO of Alterface, highlights the unique aspects of the ride: “This new attraction not only entertains but also engages guests with its enchanting narrative. It raises intriguing questions about the beauty and composition of rainbows, creating a memorable experience that connects audiences with Cinnamoroll and the sense of wonder he embodies.”

The interactive gameplay in Cinnamoroll’s Little Big Adventure strikes a balance between storytelling and active participation. Guests use Magic Star Wands to overcome obstacles, though the focus remains on the narrative journey rather than mere competition. This ensures a rich, immersive experience that emphasizes emotional engagement and the unfolding adventure.

The dual-theater setup features 35 motion-based seats in each theater, including accessible spaces for wheelchairs and a designated area for small children. The design supports a high throughput of over 600 guests per hour while maintaining a compact footprint. Interactive elements and special effects enhance the immersive environment, with guests’ performance being tracked and displayed on the theater screen, adding a competitive yet enjoyable aspect to the experience.
