Futuroscope is counting down the days to unveil ‘Mission Bermuda’, an all-new immersive water attraction opening on 28 June.
With an investment of €25 million, Mission Bermuda is an immersive expedition to the heart of the mysterious Bermuda Triangle. With a dynamic 500-meter course, impressive special effects and a final drop of 16metres, it is an adventure bound to make waves.

The Bermuda Triangle is famous for its mysterious disappearances and is the inspiration for this exciting expedition.
“Explore the mystery of Bermuda,” states Futuroscope. “More people are disappearing! Hurry off with the search party to explore the mystery of Bermuda, in the tumult of the rapids. Embark on a thrilling adventure of special effects, acceleration, and waterfalls!”

Firstly, riders will embark on an eight-seater lifeboat setting sail for an extraordinary mission. The experience begins at a base camp, where a preshow immerses intrepid guests in the history of this volatile area. The expedition voyages through spectacular shipwrecks and planes, before becoming trapped in challenging rapids in the deep jungle.

Designed by Mack Rides and a first for the industry, the ‘Rocking Boat’ technology allows boats to sail on submerged rails, offering realistic flotation. A rotating lift propels adventurers 16metres into the air before plummeting down at 60km/h towards a thrilling splashdown.
Mission Bermuda has nine boats catering for 10 people and last up to five minutes.
The experiences provides many exciting elements including water explosions, mist clouds and rich sound effects.

Futuroscope has also create a new eatery linked to Mission Bermuda with the ‘Bermuda Bar’.
In addition, the French park is set to continue expanding its list of exciting attractions with the arrival of a new roller coaster coming in 2028.
