“The next 50 years start here: Welcome to the future of Gardaland!”
With these words, Gardaland opened its doors to celebrate its 50th season.
On Saturday 5th April, Gardaland began a milestone that celebrates the history of the fabled Italian resort.
A novel initiative of Gardaland celebrations is to offer free admission on visitor’s birthday.
Stefano Cigarini, CEO of Gardaland Resort, said at the opening: “Gardaland celebrates its 50th season with a perfect balance between innovation and tradition. New experiences such as AI The Future is Here, the new show at Gardaland Theatre dedicated to artificial intelligence, will engage today’s audiences, while we will pay homage to the history of the park with special events such as Bim Bum Bam Live.”
As it is the Easter holiday season, Gardaland is anticipating a greater visitor flow of tourists from abroad. To aid this, Gardaland states that its trio of hotels can be purchased online and check-in can be accessed digitally for a smoother welcome, while the resort has added premium services for clientele.
Cigarini added that “Saturday 12 April marks the world premiere of Animal Treasure Island, a new exclusive Gardaland experience that confirms the Resort’s central role in the great world of Merlin Entertainments and in the European entertainment landscape.
“Developed for the first time right here on the occasion of the 50th anniversary, with its 600 square metres of track, it is the evolution of the longest European dark ride: an immersive journey aboard large themed boats.
“Thanks to cutting-edge technologies, 360-degree sound, screens, special effects and immersive storytelling, Animal Treasure Island will redefine the concept of adventure, offering an unprecedented experience”, ended Cigarini.
Gardaland celebrates a half a century of magic, adventure, fun and smiles, “but this is only the beginning, as we want to launch ourselves into an even brighter and more surprising future,” enthused Gardaland.
