The 4.3 billion yuan development near Wuhan Tianhe Airport combines a dinosaur-themed adventure park, water park and Boonie Bears hotel in a single destination.

Huaqiang Fantawild Group will open Xiaogan Fantawild Tourist Area on 17 June 2026, bringing its first major integrated resort to Central China. The development is located in Xiaogan city’s Airport Economic Zone, 16 kilometres from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport and 30 kilometres from Hankou railway station.

The project carries a total investment of approximately 4.3 billion yuan and covers 1,056 mu (roughly 704,000m²), comprising three components: Fantawild Wild Continent, a Boonie Bears water sports base and a Boonie Bears-themed hotel. All three open simultaneously on 17 June.

Fantawild Wild Continent is described as the first dinosaur-themed Fantawild park in Central China, integrating dinosaur culture, local Xiaogan heritage and animation IP across themed zones. Standard admission is priced at 280 yuan per adult, with a concession rate of 199 yuan for children and seniors. The water park carries standard pricing of 180 yuan, with concession tickets at 120 yuan.

The Boonie Bears hotel adjoins both parks and is the first Boonie Bears-branded hotel deployed by Huaqiang Fantawild in Central China. It offers 396 themed rooms alongside a children’s play area, fitness centre, outdoor pool and indoor hot spring facilities.

Pre-sale tickets and annual passes went on sale from 3 June via the Fantawild Tourism app and official WeChat mini-programme, with launch pricing available at up to 50% discount on standard rates.

The resort fills a gap in Xiaogan’s leisure infrastructure and positions the city more directly within the Wuhan metropolitan tourism circuit. Its opening is expected to reshape the theme park landscape across Central China and support Xiaogan’s ambition to develop as a secondary hub within the wider Wuhan urban cluster.
