Huss Park Attractions Expands Presence in China with New Signature Rides

Listen to this article

German amusement ride manufacturer Huss Park Attractions continues to strengthen its market presence in China by delivering innovative attractions to two of the country’s prominent theme parks. The latest installations include the family-oriented ride “Wrath of the Yeti” at OCT Fantasy Valley Xiangyang and the thrill attraction “Perfect Storm,” a Top Spin Suspended model at OCT Happy Valley Nanjing.

“Wrath of the Yeti,” a new version of Huss’s acclaimed King Kong ride, opened at Fantasy Valley Xiangyang’s Kunlun Fairyland area. This highly engaging ride incorporates impressive design features and cutting-edge special effects inspired by the legendary King Kong films. With its striking 12.7-meter-tall animatronic gorilla, the attraction captures the attention of visitors and has rapidly become a prime spot for guest interaction, photos, and social media sharing.

The ride’s hydraulically controlled movements gently elevate a gondola, holding up to 24 passengers, from ground level upwards to the face of King Kong. The experience is enhanced by synchronized special effects, including vibrant lighting for the creature’s eyes, mist effects, atmospheric sounds, and built-in seat vibrations, all designed to amplify guest immersion. Despite its impressive visual impact, the ride occupies a modest footprint of approximately 11.3 by 9.5 meters, making it accessible for parks with limited space.

At Happy Valley Nanjing, Huss has unveiled “Perfect Storm,” the newest generation Top Spin Suspended ride. Positioned within the park’s Forest Mysterious themed zone, this thrill ride features 38 seats arranged in a unique back-to-back (B2B) configuration, providing guests with unobstructed views and heightened sensations due to its suspended, floorless gondola design.

Perfect Storm enhances the classic Top Spin experience through dynamic ride sequences, such as dramatic pendulum swings, multiple inversions around its axis, unexpected directional shifts, and exhilarating rotations triggered by precise braking mechanisms. The experience is further intensified by custom special effects, creating a fully immersive ride that appeals strongly to thrill-seekers.

These latest projects underscore Huss Park Attractions’ ongoing commitment to innovation and their strategic emphasis on China’s growing amusement and attractions market. By continuously delivering distinctive, quality experiences, Huss reinforces its reputation as a preferred supplier for operators seeking advanced and crowd-pleasing attractions.
