China’s Jinma Rides has delivered and commissioned its Super Spinning Coaster ZXC-4D at Nicco Park in Kolkata – the first spinning roller coaster of its kind in the city.
Jinma Rides has completed the delivery and commissioning of its Super Spinning Coaster ZXC-4D at Nicco Park in Kolkata, India. The installation, confirmed by Jinma on 27 May 2026, brings a ride type new to Kolkata’s amusement market and continues the Chinese manufacturer’s push into South Asia.
The coaster’s footprint tells its own story. The medium-sized attraction occupies just 53.5 metres by 30 metres while delivering a 392-metre main track featuring banked curves, spirals, and rolling elements. For operators managing constrained urban sites, that ratio matters. High guest capacity without large land use is a recurring procurement priority in the Indian market.
Five free-spinning cars, each with four inward-facing seats, allow riders to rotate freely as they navigate the track. No two circuits are alike. With a top speed of 47.9 km/h, a lift height of 16.6 metres, and a track height of 17.1 metres, the coaster balances excitement with broad accessibility. Theoretical hourly capacity stands at 720 riders, supporting efficient operations for Nicco Park.
A Jinma spokesperson attributed the project to a wider philosophy: “Nicco Park is an iconic local destination, and we’re proud to bring our Super Spinning Coaster to their guests. This ride is a perfect example of Jinma’s focus on practical, high-value solutions: compact in footprint, engaging for visitors, and built to meet international safety standards like EN 13814. The Nicco Park installation further strengthens Jinma’s presence in India’s growing amusement sector, where demand for reliable, cost-effective attractions continues to rise. The ZXC-4D is certified to EN 13814, the European standard for fairground and amusement park machinery.
