Summer is here and water attractions take centre stage to cool off, which is precisely what Gardaland Resort has done to officially kick off the summer with the reopening of Legoland Water Park Gardaland.
The only Lego-themed water park in Italy and the first to be inaugurated in Europe, Legoland Water Park Gardaland is a haven of aquatic fun thanks to its 15,000 square meters water world.
The aquatic play zone offers an immersive experience among water games, slides, swimming pools and millions of decorated coloured bricks.
Something for everyone at Legoland Water Park Gardaland
“Every corner is an invitation to play and harness creativity,” states Gardaland.
“Guests pass through an evocative entrance portal, dominated by a giant blue wave made with over 400 giant Lego bricks. The adventure begins in Miniland, with some of the most famous Italian monuments recreated in brick version.
“Among the slides and splashes of Beach Party are mega buckets of water that spills by surprise.
“For those looking for a bit of relaxation, there is the Lego River Adventure. This is a slow river to travel aboard customisable inflatable boats. While the little ones can have fun in complete safety in the Duplo Splash and Pirate Bay areas.
“And for small builders, the Lego Creation Island is, where you can create floating creations. A perfect mix of water, bricks and fun for the whole family!”
Water ride manufacturers WhiteWater worked with Merlin Entertainments to tap into the Lego brand’s distinctive theming. A big task was to integrate the Intellectual Property across the water park.
The water park is complete with three water slides, hand-carved aquatic animals, and one of the largest AquaPlay structures in Italy. In turn, the Legoland Water Park engage guests and bring the Lego universe to life with fresh depth, colour, and possibilities.
