Mack Rides, a renowned innovator in amusement ride engineering, has revealed its latest cutting-edge attraction, the Airific Flying Theater, at the IAAPA Expo 2024 in Orlando.
Developed in collaboration with SeaWorld Orlando, the Airific Flying Theater is designed to deliver an unforgettable, immersive experience while optimizing space, cost, and operational efficiency, making it an ideal addition to modern theme parks.
Revolutionary Features of the Airific Flying Theater
The Airific Flying Theater introduces a new standard in flying theater attractions by addressing critical needs of theme park operators. Its innovative design incorporates:
- Space and Cost Efficiency:
The Airific features a rotating tower with dual seating platforms that alternate between boarding/unloading and film viewing. This compact design reduces the attraction’s footprint while minimizing operational and staffing costs. - Enhanced Safety and Reliability:
In emergencies or power outages, the rotating tower ensures a quick, safe evacuation by automatically returning platforms to the loading position. - Flexible Integration:
The modular design of the Airific makes it adaptable to fit existing park structures, offering unmatched flexibility in construction and deployment. - Customizable Programming:
The attraction supports 4 Degrees of Freedom (DOF) and includes an open programming interface, allowing operators to design unique ride trajectories tailored to their park’s vision. - Seamless Content Creation:
Mack Rides has partnered with Mack Media and Mack Animation to deliver synchronized visuals, immersive audio, and compelling storytelling. This collaborative approach ensures a 360-degree cinematic experience that captivates audiences.
