Wiener Looping is ride operational with the steel roller coaster officially opening at Wiener Prater in Vienna. Built by Mack Rides, the  Wiener Looping roller coaster traverses’ various inversions and travels through the Viennese amusement park.

Construction has been on going for some time with the highest piece of track lifted into place last December with the final installation on 18 December.

Wiener Looping gives riders a hearty dose of adrenaline and airtime. The ride begins with a left hand turn into the lift hill and upwards towards a height of 101.7ft (31m).

Once at the summit, the ride vehicle rotates 180° left before plummeting down aa 92° drop to great views of the historic Vienna skyline.

An airtime hill follows before making two thrilling inversions: a Banana Roll and a vertical loop, with a small hanging pause upside down.

Riders then race into a dive loop/drop before moving back on itself with both a helix and airtime hill element before its finale.

Wiener Looping fits into a tightly packed area and Mack Rides has created a ride experience to complement the rides at Prater Park.

Its ride dimensions consist of that 101.7 feet (31.0 m) lift hill, traversing along a 1,699.5 ft (518m) long track, with speeds up to 50.3 mph (81.0 km/h). The coaster caters for two single-car trains, seating eight riders in two rows of four.
