OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark officially opens on Feb 21, introducing a 100,000-square-foot indoor water park with state-of-the-art attractions designed for year-round enjoyment. Developed by the Chickasaw Nation, the resort integrates cultural storytelling with modern entertainment, offering visitors a unique and immersive experience.
ProSlide, a leader in water ride technology, supplied the park’s signature attractions, including the RocketBLAST water coaster, featuring its highest drop to date, and the custom-themed RideHOUSE interactive play structure. Other standout rides include the TornadoWAVE 12 SwitchBACK, the high-speed FlyingSAUCER 45, and the Dueling PIPEline body slides, offering both thrills and competitive racing elements.
“The design of OKANA’s water attractions combines cutting-edge ride technology with a deep appreciation for cultural heritage,” said Jeff Janovich, SVP, Global Strategic Partnerships at ProSlide. The water park’s themes reflect First Nations influences, blending history and entertainment to create a meaningful visitor experience.
The project was developed in collaboration with Aquatic Development Group, which led the master planning and wave pool design. Together, these partners have crafted a premier water park experience, balancing luxury, innovation, and cultural significance.
OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark’s grand opening marks a new chapter in indoor water park entertainment, offering a mix of high-adrenaline rides and family-friendly attractions. More details can be found at www.okanaresort.com.
