Exciting Gaulish Summer awaits at Parc Asterix

Parc Asterix is launching ‘Gaulish Summer’, a festive season running from 12 July to 30 August 2025.

Visitors can enjoy a unique experience in an immersive atmosphere until 10pm every evening and a brand-new fireworks display on 13 and 14 July. With attractions, live shows, open-air entertainment, the only one of its kind in Europe, Gaulish Summer promises to be a big party for the whole family, at the crossroads of culture, fantasy and adventure.

A summer of night-time events

To celebrate summer, Parc Asterix is offering a brand-new fireworks display on 13 and 14 July. The show will light up the Gaulish sky as night falls and will be open to all visitors when the park closes.

Water attractions to cool off in the middle of summer

Gaulish Summer welcomes visitors to rediscover the park’s seven water attractions, a must for cooling off in the summer sun:

  • Menhir Express and its legendary breathtaking descent
  • Romus et Rapidus, for an epic race through the Roman rapids
  • L’Oxygénarium, a cool whirlpool in the middle of the forest
  • La Rivière d’Elis or Epidemais Croisière and Hydrolix for the youngest visitors.

Also, there is La Revanche des Pirates, the successful re-theming of Le Grand Splatch, for an immersion into the world of the Pirates.

Thrilling shows for visitors of all ages

Throughout the summer, the park’s cult shows will be on hand to liven up visitors’ days and nights:

  • Les Plongeons de l’Olympe: a grandiose diving competition between Romans and Greeks, staged in a setting worthyof an ancient arena.
  • La Main Basse sur la Joconde: the most explosive heist ever, a park legend for over 25 years.
  • Du Rififi dans la Basse-Cour: family comedy set against a backdrop of Gaulish mishaps at the Théâtre du Barde.
  • The Parc Astérix musical: C’est du Délire! Follow the adventures of Groupidupianix and Sérotonine! One aspires to become the most illustrious bard in all Gaul, while the other dreams of becoming the first female druid. But their path to fulfilling these dreams is not without its challenges… By joining forces, these two adventurous companions promise to spread the magic and humour of Gaul! A hilarious 30-minute show for all the family to enjoy at the Théâtre de Panoramix.

Meanwhile, the Gaulish Parade is a travelling show featuring Asterix, Obelix, Idéfix and all the tribe, which will be bringing the park’s walkways to life.

A unique stay in the park’s three hotels

Parc Asterix offers three hotels nestling in the heart of the Oise Regional Nature Park forest, within walking distance of the attractions. Every morning, special access to the attractions is reserved for guests from 09:30 am before the official opening of the park.

Firstly, at ‘Les Quais de Lutèce hôtel’ this 4*is made up of several majestic period buildings set around the Seine. Voted best themed hotel in the world in 2020, it has attracted more than 150,000 visitors since it opened (capacity 150 rooms).

Meanwhile, ‘La Cité Suspendue hôtel’ is a 3* lost in a green setting, inspired by a forgotten Celtic city. A haven of peace made up of 3 hamlets: the potters’ village, the artists’ village and the druids’ village (Capacity 150 rooms).

Finally, ‘Les Trois Hiboux hôtel’ is a 3* offering a unique stay in the heart of the forest in an authentic and welcoming atmosphere. It features a majestic fireplace to warm visitors up after a day in the park.
