Cétautomatix: a revolutionary family attraction
Cétautomatix marks a major step forward in Parc Astérix’s entertainment offering by being the first spinning, kinetic-powered family roller coaster in Europe. This unique “spinning coaster” is distinguished by its self-propelled, spinning cars, offering a variety of new sensations on every ride.
Moreover, the technical features of the attraction include a maximum height of 14 metres and reaching a top speed of 45Km/h. The ride has eight vehicles sitting in a two-by-two seating capacity. Its dynamic track consists of vertical and horizontal elements of direction, spinning cars cover 420m of track length.
In the heart of Cétautomatix’s garage
Parc Astérix’s Gaul Zone is expanding with the arrival of a new area dedicated to the village’s famous blacksmith, Cétautomatix. Known for his fiery temper, he is embarking on a new adventure with a brand-new range of vehicles, specially designed for visitors to the park.
Visitors will have the exclusive opportunity to test them out in real-life conditions on a fast-paced test track – true to the indomitable spirit of the Gaulish Village.

Designed for the whole family, the Cétautomatix attraction is accessible from 1 metre and over, giving even the youngest visitors their very first thrills. Visitors will climb aboard cars designed in a bustling garage, where tradition and ingenuity combine to offer an experience that’s both visual and full of adrenaline. Every ride is a new discovery, making each one unique and unpredictable.
