Merlin Entertainments has opened its second U.S.-based Peppa Pig Theme Park, marking its third global theme park under the beloved children’s brand. Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, this $40 million attraction expands Merlin’s portfolio of dedicated Peppa Pig venues, following earlier openings in Florida (2022) and Günzburg, Germany (2024).
Celebrations for the Dallas-Fort Worth launch were attended by Fiona Eastwood of Merlin Entertainments and Matt Proulx from Hasbro, along with Peppa Pig and friends, providing an engaging experience for families and visitors.
This new venue brings an assortment of interactive rides and themed play areas, designed for accessibility and family fun. Among the featured rides are “Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride,” which includes wheelchair-accessible facilities, the adventurous “Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride,” and the dynamic “Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride,” offering soaring views. Also included are nine themed playscapes to encourage immersive, imaginative play.
Fiona Eastwood emphasized Merlin’s commitment to bringing beloved entertainment brands to life, noting that this new park represents Merlin’s strategic expansion of the Peppa Pig brand beyond theme parks into global entertainment experiences. Matt Proulx highlighted Hasbro’s focus on meaningful, confidence-building adventures for young children and families.
With an investment exceeding $40 million, the new park prioritizes inclusivity, offering accessible features such as wheelchair-friendly ride vehicles. It exemplifies Merlin’s ongoing dedication to creating memorable, inclusive family experiences, positioning itself as a key attraction within the vibrant Texas entertainment market.
