Fans of Pokémon will be able to get closer to the hit series with the unveiling of PokéPark Kanto themed area.

The experience will open in 2026, with ticket sales commencing before the start of 2026.

It will represent the world’s first permanent outdoor Pokémon attraction.

PokéPark Kanto is not a standalone theme park, but a themed area within Yomiuriland, an amusement park in Tokyo.

PokéPark coming into operation in 2026

PokéPark will cover 26,000 square meters and will be comprised of two areas: Sedge Town and Pokémon Forest. The Forest will be the main are, where you will encounter dozens of Pokémon in the wild.
