ProSlide attended IAAPA Expo 2024 in Amsterdam with a focus on the evolving landscape of European water parks.

ProSlide detailed a number of its products during a press conference in Amsterdam. Siam Park was recognised by Tripadvisor as the World’s number one Water Park for the past decade. This year, the renowned park was awarded the “Best of the Best” honour at the Park World Excellence Awards.
Christoph Kiessling, Siam Park general manager, and the park team have an immense environmental awareness, hailing from a zoological background. Siam Park leverages many sustainability practices to protect the natural beauty of the Canary Islands and has achieved the accreditation of a Biosphere Certified – Park.
Wolfgang Kiesling was also awarded the Industry Icon Operator Award in the Park World Excellence Awards for decades of achievements at Loro Parque and Siam Park. ProSlide’s water coasters continue to have a greater footprint across Europe and the Middle East, with attractions like SINGHA and SAIFA (Siam Park), Turtle Coaster (The Land of Legends), MammothBLAST (Aquashow), Banzai (Aqualibi), and Medusa’s Lair and Shock Wave (Atlantis Aquaventure Dubai) generating substantial attendance and guest satisfaction.

Sustainability is at the forefront of ProSlide’s objectives, stating that “we’re proud to have developed an innovative, sustainable aquatic play feature at Water World Lloret, which utilizes the natural landscape and minimises the use of steel compared to conventional play structures. Kids can now enjoy the World’s First KIDZ Double TornadoWAVE and KIDZ FlyingSAUCER, designed with fun and the environment in mind.”
Belgium’s leading indoor water park, Aqualibi, has undergone a notable transformation this year. And ProSlide teamed up with Compagnie Des Alpes to create an impressive architectural venue with four world-leading water rides. It is a project which has cemented Aqualibi as a new major reference for indoor water parks in Europe.
ProSlide has its eyes on the future, with an event to be held at Rulantica, Europa-Park in 2025 for IAAPA Honours, celebrating innovation and collaboration in the water park industry.
Since its opening in 2019, Rulantica has set a benchmark for indoor water parks globally, continually expanding with world-leading innovations like Svalgurok (RideHOUSE – 2021) and Vikingløp (RallyRACER – 2023).
