Sea Life Florida at Legoland Florida Resort has welcomed its first guests to the exciting new visitor attraction.
Located in in Winter Haven, the aquarium features more than 25 interactive exhibits, including a stingray bay, hands-on rockpools, and 10 underwater-themed galleries. Its main viewing area is ‘Theme Park Under the Sea,’ housing clownfish, cownose stingrays and unicorn tangs.
The aquarium is ADA accessible and Sea Life Florida aims to become a Certified Autism Center, confirmed Sea Life Florida.
“This moment marks the shift from construction site to conservation site,” Sarah McMahon, curator at Sea Life Florida, said in the release.
“From building walls to building connections between people and the ocean. Every fish, ray, and shark that arrives is a chance to spark curiosity and inspire care for our planet.”
Sea Life Centre at Legoland Florida encourages visitors to experience “a Theme Park Under the Sea at Sea Life Florida, where every corner is packed with ocean-sized excitement.”
“We’re o-fish-ally open so come face-to-fin with incredible stingrays, feel the squishy anemones, and get thrillingly close – but not too close – to our sleek and speedy Blacktip Reef Sharks!”
