Sirenโ€™s Curse is approaching the final countdown to launch at Cedar Point.

Constructed by Vekoma, the tallest, fastest and longest โ€œtiltโ€ roller coaster in America,ย Sirenโ€™s Curse is in the final phase of development.ย

Its lift hill is close to be topped out to which final alignment evaluations will commence.

Meanwhile, 700 yards of concrete five feet thick has been poured for the tunnel.

The majority of its track is now in place as Sirenโ€™s Curse takes shape in Sandusky ahead of Cedar Pointโ€™s reopening on 3 May.

A trip on-board will take riders upwards on its 160-foot lift hill to which they will stop on the edge of a โ€œbrokenโ€ track. The track then tilts 90 degrees as riders will plummet to more adrenaline-filled features of the ride – 13 airtime moments in all, including two 360-degree, zero-gravity barrel rolls and a high-speed triple-down element with twisted and overbanked track.

Sirenโ€™s Cure will cover 2,966 feet of track and reach a top speed of 58mph.ย

Cedar Point is readying for a thrilling year as Top Thrill 2 is set to reopen this season.

Top Thrill 2 was closed for most of the 2024 season with its ride manufacturers, Zamperla, modifying the coaster’s vehicles.ย
