“We’re taking history by the horns with six world records!”
A statement from Six Flags Over Texas backed up with the unveiling of Tormenta Rampaging Run, the tallest, fastest, longest, first-and only giga dive coaster in the world.
“The defining thrill of 2026 will be at Six Flags Over Texas with the opening of Tormenta Rampaging Run. This one-of-a-kind thrill will be in our new Spanish village, Rancho de la Tormenta,” said a park spokesperson.

As riders ascend to the lift hill’s peak, they are filled with a sense of anticipation before plunging into a record-breaking 95 degree beyond vertical drop, complete with sharp turns and other exhilarating drops that replicate the thrill of the Running of the Bulls.

Meanwhile, as guests approach the Rancho de la Tormenta plaza, they pass underneath a canopy of colourful banners, hear jubilant Spanish music welcoming them, and smell the mouth watering aromas coming from our newest restaurant, Cocina Abuela.
Furthermore, the main attraction of the plaza is the 309-foot dive coaster, themed around the exhilarating Running of the Bulls. Guests board open-air vehicles styled to mimic the vibrant costumes of the runners.
