Qiddiya and Intamin have shared the first official on-ride video from their new Falcons Flight roller coaster, which is now testing at Six Flags Qiddiya City.
Falcons Flight will be the world’s tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster when it opens. It will have a mammoth 519-foot drop, a top speed of 155mph, and a track length at more than two miles, 13,944 feet.
Built into the natural cliffs near the park, Falcon’s Flight hits a peak elevation of 639ft with a vertical drop of 519ft. Six trains of 14 riders will run simultaneously on the track, using three linear synchronous motor launches to propel the train to sequentially higher speeds. The launch to ascend the cliff will accelerate riders over 100miles per hour.
Six Flags Qiddiya City and Falcons Flight, courtesy of Intamin, will open to the public by the end of the year and will be the first Six Flags to open outside of the US.
