Top Gun Vegas has secured a new home on the Las Vegas Strip, with developers confirming the aviation-themed attraction will move to a site south of its previously announced location. The relocation keeps the Top Gun Vegas project on course for its planned 2028 debut while placing it alongside Harry Reid International Airport, a setting that closely matches the attraction’s aviation theme.
Developer Advent Allen Entertainment has acquired a 2.48-acre site at 4815 South Las Vegas Boulevard, replacing the original proposal to build the attraction opposite The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower. The new location sits near the famous ‘Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas’ sign and the Pinball Hall of Fame, offering prominent frontage on the southern end of the Strip.
The project remains a partnership between Advent Allen Entertainment and Paramount Global, which first announced the immersive attraction in 2025. While the latest land acquisition focuses on the site’s relocation, the companies have not indicated any changes to the previously announced guest experience. Plans still include a high-performance flight-themed thrill ride, interactive experiences, themed retail, dining and the Hard Deck bar and restaurant inspired by Top Gun: Maverick.
Positioning the attraction close to the airport also reinforces the project’s aviation identity. Early concept information suggests the development will incorporate hangar-inspired architecture, with aircraft movements providing a fitting backdrop to the destination.
The Top Gun Vegas project forms part of Paramount’s wider strategy to expand its film franchises into location-based entertainment. Earlier announcements confirmed that the attraction will combine motion-based ride technology, immersive media and simulator experiences designed to place guests in their own ‘Top Gun’ mission, alongside entertainment and food and beverage offerings.
No revised opening date has been announced, and the attraction remains scheduled to welcome guest
