Patience is a virtue and Cedar Point has given its guests the treat of the return of Top Thrill 2.
Manufactured by Zamperla, the ride officially becomes the tallest and fastest coaster in the world once again.
Guests will experience a sensational weightlessness as you immerse yourself in three “free-fall” moments, including the fun “rollback” after you’re first launched forward.
Then, you launch backward and rise into the sky towards its shimmering vertical tower.
A third launch propels you forward at 120mph towards its top hat standing proud at 420ft and twisting back down towards the finish line.
Two minutes of pure adrenaline for guests who welcome back Top Thrill 2 with open arms, or arms in the air.
The ride originally reopened in 2024 after a comprehensive makeover to add a vertical spike and enhanced systems mechanisms.
However, the ride suffered several operational issues and was closed shortly after its opening to conduct an operational upgrade.
So Top Thrill 2 is now back in operation and providing guests at Cedar Point a hair-raising thrill to remember.
