Toverland has once again set a new benchmark in visitor attendance, welcoming an impressive 1,174,000 guests in 2024. This record-breaking figure marks the third consecutive year the park has surpassed previous visitor numbers, attracting not only families and groups of friends but also large parties from corporate outings and school trips.
The remarkable growth is attributed to Toverlandโs ongoing investment in seasonal events and park quality. Extended opening hours combined with innovative seasonal offerings have played a crucial role. In 2024, the parkโs Halloween Nights maintained their popularity, while the winter concept, Winter Feelings, enchanted guests throughout the colder months. Looking ahead to 2025, Toverland plans to refresh its summer event, Summer Feelings, featuring unique entertainment acts designed to bring the parkโs magical narratives to life. The expanded operating schedule is also expected to boost visitor numbers further.
High guest satisfaction remains at the heart of Toverlandโs success. Managing Director Jean Gelissen Jr. remarked, โCelebrating a visitor record for the third year in a row is a great compliment to our team. Every day, we strive to create magical and joyful experiences for our visitors through high-quality attractions and exceptional service.โ He emphasized that the commitment of Toverlandโs dedicated staff has been instrumental in achieving these milestones.
In addition to seasonal enhancements, the park is investing in its attractions. A major renovation of the wooden roller coaster Troy is underway. A dedicated team of twenty trained employees is renewing key sections of the coaster, including the first drop and horseshoe element, to ensure smoother rides. Troy is expected to reopen in mid-April. With plans for new projects such as the energy-neutral Clubhuis and on-site accommodations, Toverland is well poised for an enchanting future.
