Interactive Dark Coaster at Lagoon Amusement Park Recognized for Innovation
The interactive dark coaster developed by Triotech in collaboration with Lagoon Amusement Park and ART Engineering, has been awarded the 2024 IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best New Product in the Major Ride/Attraction category. The recognition highlights the ride’s advancements in immersive storytelling, interactivity, and dynamic ride mechanics.
A milestone in Triotech’s 25-year history, Primordial integrates cutting-edge media-based technology with a unique multi-ending narrative, offering riders a different experience each time they ride. With six possible endings, the attraction encourages repeat visits by providing varying storylines and ride paths.
“The creation of Primordial was a collaborative effort, blending technology and storytelling to push the boundaries of interactive attractions,” said Ernest Yale, CEO & Founder of Triotech. “This award is a testament to the dedication of our partners at Lagoon and everyone involved in bringing this vision to life.”
The IAAPA Brass Ring Award is among the industry’s highest honors, recognizing outstanding achievements in creativity and impact within themed entertainment. Primordial’s success underscores a growing demand for replayable, interactive ride experiences that merge physical thrills with digital engagement.
Triotech is presenting its latest innovations at the IAAPA Expo in Orlando from November 19 to 22 at booths 1359 & 1361.
