Hersheypark has revealed that Twizzlers Twisted Gravity attraction will open to the public on Saturday, May 24, 2025.

The high-thrill pendulum attraction, manufactured by S&S Worldwide, will be the tallest Screamin’ Swing in the world when it opens for ride operation.

Daily summer operations at Hersheypark will begin on Thursday, 22, May with the 11-acre The Boardwalk At Hersheypark water park opening Saturday, 24 May.

Hersheypark promises “Unique Ride Experience”

The one-minute and 10-second experience on Twizzlers Twisted Gravity begins as riders of Hersheypark height category (48-54”) and above sit in one of four branded zones across two gondolas featuring the Twizzlers Strawberry, Cherry, Hershey’s Chocolate and Black Licorice-flavored designs.

Then, riders will ascend 137 adrenaline-pumping feet, defy gravity at speeds reaching 68 miles per hour and experience multiple mind-bending zero G moments as they swing high above Spring Creek in The Hollow region of Hersheypark. Thrills in abundance.

The 2025 Hersheypark Season Pass program features four tiers with unlimited visits and sweet perks to fit every family’s lifestyle.

2025 King Size and Giant Size Season Pass Holders will be one of the first to ride Twizzlers Twisted Gravity, plus enjoy other popular benefits like unlimited visits, free tickets, a free souvenir cup, one-hour early access during the summer season and more.

Furthermore, The First To Ride Event will take place on Thursday, May 22, and Friday, May 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Hersheypark summer tickets include three experiences in one with 70 rides, featuring the most coasters in the Northeast, a full water park (open Memorial Day through Labor Day) and an 11-acre Zoo.

So a summer of exciting riding is ahead for adrenaline-filled visitors onboard Hersheypark’s new ride. Time to twist and shout and scream if you want to go faster.
