Alton Towers will serve up two new Halloween scare experiences this autumn.
The Edge of the Forest is a live action scare maze in the Dark Forest while Dark Hollow is an outdoor scare zone.
Traditional scare experiences Altonville Mine Tours and Trick O’Trent Town will return to Scarefest when it opens on 27 September.
Alton Towers vice president Bianca Sammut said: “At Alton Towers Resort, we’re always raising the bar for thrills and our latest scare attractions, The Edge of the Forest and Dark Hollow, are no exception.
“The new scare maze and scare zone bring the twists of the Dark Forest to life in terrifying new ways and we can’t wait to see brave fans take it on during Scarefest 2025.”
“Whispers wind through the withered woods at the edge of the Dark Forest, where a forgotten cottage stands as the last remnant of a forgotten time. Locals speak of the Leshwall, a lurking presence that twists the trees and plays tricks on the mind,” further detail the theme park.
“Ignore the warnings and step inside this live-action scare maze, but be warned – the vines twist, the forest shifts with every step, and you’re never alone.”
