A new thematic area of Walt Disney World with roots to Disney Animation will open in 2026.
The current Star Wars: Launch Bay at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios will be transformed into The Magic of Disney Animation. This new experience is inspired by Disney Animation’s headquarters.
The animation-themed attraction will let guests interact with characters and learn to draw them. It will also house an indoor playground for young children.
The new thematic area will showcase new animated experiences with the title, “The Magic of Disney Animation” where guests can “interact with and explore silly takes on the iconic Disney headquarters.”
The area is set to be reimagined as “The Walt Disney Studios.”
