Miral and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences confirm a Zamperla centrifuge attraction opening 26 July 2026 and a Superman flying coaster scheduled for 2028.
Miral, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, has announced two new DC-themed attractions at Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The additions signal a sustained investment push at the indoor park, with one ride less than six weeks from opening.
Kryptonite Collider opens on 26 July 2026. Superman Up and Away is scheduled for 2028. Both are being developed with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences.
Kryptonite Collider is a Zamperla Nebulaz model. The ride is set within the park’s Metropolis land, where guests become test subjects for Lex Luthor’s fictional Everyman Project. Infomercial-style video presentations run throughout the queue before riders board the 32-seat centrifuge-style vehicle. Onboard audio and lighting effects intensify the motion, and the experience concludes with interactive digital screens designed to show riders what superhuman powers they have unlocked.
Jonathan Brown, chief portfolio officer at Miral, said: “The introduction of these new DC-themed attractions marks an exciting chapter in the continued evolution of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, further enriching its world-class offerings. It reinforces our long-standing partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, as we collectively advance our shared ambition to deliver unparalleled immersive entertainment for our guests.”
Superman Up and Away will be a next-generation flying roller coaster, launching guests face-down alongside Superman on a mission to protect Metropolis. It will become the park’s third coaster. Further technical details are expected closer to construction completion in 2028.
Simon Robinson, president of global experiences and studio operations at Warner Bros. Discovery, said: “These attractions represent an exciting new chapter for Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and will offer visitors a fresh way to experience the world of DC.”
Miral chief executive Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi made the announcement on 11 June 2026. The timing follows the inaugural IAAPA Expo Middle East, held in Abu Dhabi in March – an event that had originally been earmarked for these reveals before regional circumstances delayed plans.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi currently features six themed lands and has operated since July 2018. The two DC rides extend its attraction count while giving the Metropolis land its most significant hardware addition since opening.
