WhiteWater Earns Two Brass Ring Awards and Unveils Groundbreaking Attractions

WhiteWater wrapped up IAAPA Expo 2024 with major achievements, securing two Brass Ring Awards as runners-up in prestigious categories: Best New Product: Class A (over $2M) for Walhalla and Class B (under $2M) for Mini Blaster. Alongside these accolades, WhiteWater unveiled its most extensive range of new products to date, demonstrating the company’s commitment to innovation and guest satisfaction.

Walhalla: The Fastest 6-Person Raft Ride in the World

A unique blend of the Boomerango and Manta rides, Walhalla offers an unforgettable group experience with:

  • An 11.4-meter (37.4 feet) plunge
  • Speeds of up to 50 km/h (31 mph)
  • Up to seven thrilling oscillations
  • High G-force and weightless sensations
  • A sustainable design with low energy and water consumption

Debuting at Meryal Waterpark in Lusail, Qatar, Walhalla has gained worldwide attention, with one Instagram reel showcasing the ride amassing over 286 million views.

Mini Blaster: Water Coaster Thrills for Kids

A scaled-down version of the beloved Master Blaster, Mini Blaster introduces younger guests to water coaster excitement. Designed for children 36 inches (91.4 cm) and taller, the ride features:

  • Smooth accelerations
  • Speeds up to 25 km/h (15.5 mph)
  • A quick, 20-second duration for repeatability

The Mini Blaster, which debuted in the kids’ area at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels in Texas, has been hailed as a “winner” by park operators. Its compact footprint and high throughput make it an ideal choice for parks looking to enhance their children’s offerings.

New Attractions Take Center Stage

WhiteWater revealed a diverse array of new products designed to cater to parks of all sizes and demographics:

  • Topspin: Featuring a high-banking corkscrew descent, Topspin offers an exhilarating compact experience and will debut at Parrot Island Waterpark in Arkansas.
  • Nautilus: Perfect for adapting to varied slide paths, Nautilus delivers smooth 90° turns and is available in enclosed or open models. It will also debut at Parrot Island Waterpark.
  • Slingshot: A thrilling ride with tight curves and an eye-catching sawtooth finish, ideal for space-constrained parks. Launching at Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi.
  • Covered Boomerango: This new iteration of the zero-G Boomerango allows for outdoor extensions at indoor water parks, doubling as a roadside billboard. Debuts at Kalahari Resorts in Wisconsin Dells.
  • Fiesta Slide: Offering side-by-side fun for up to six riders, this large slide combines simplicity and excitement, now open at Evermore Resort in Florida.
Innovative Solutions for Operators
SmartPay by Vantage

WhiteWater also introduced SmartPay, an innovative payment solution that provides flexible tokenization for group purchases, customizable spending limits, and enhanced security. Designed to improve guest convenience and increase in-park spending, SmartPay will launch at the San Antonio Zoo.
