A new theme park depicting the life and tales of Alexander the Great will become a reality in years to come.
The theme park will be built on an eight-acre site near Amphipolis and will feature both indoor and outdoor attractions.
Work is slated to begin in 2026 with an investment of 10 million euros.
Grigoris Avanidis, Project Manager at DreamWorkers, spoke of the reasons behind the latest visitor attraction in Greece: “This is the first theme park in the world dedicated to Alexander. The park will be both a cultural landmark and a tool to strengthen the local tourism economy.
“The excavation of the Kasta tomb, the great discussion that took place, and the undeniable fact that Alexander lived and pieces of his own history were written in that place, give the right to develop the Theme Park, the first in the world dedicated to him,” added Avanidis.
