ProSlide has welcomed its latest product innovation with the debut of the world’s first HIVE™ 20 at Zoombezi Bay’s new Conservation Tower.
Indeed, it is a special installation for ProSlide given its 17-year partnership with one of the Midwest’s top water parks.
The newest expansion of Conservation Tower blends cutting-edge ride design with the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium’s mission-driven storytelling.
What riders can expect at Conservation Tower
Conservation Tower features three immersive ProSlide-powered attractions, each inspired by themes of conservation and environmental impact.
Leading the expansion is The Hive, the world’s first pair of HIVE™ 20 features that send riders through high-speed, high-G helix turns and sweeping panoramic views in an unforgettable ride experience.

Moreover, the new Conservation Tower includes The Hive – Two HIVE™ 20 features that plunge guests into an electrifying 360-degree journey through high-G spirals, mimicking the motion and energy of a buzzing beehive.
Furthermore, there is Mussel Mayhem, featuring the TornadoWAVE 12 / TORNADO® 18 SwitchBACK, this combo packs Midwest-first excitement in a twisting tribute to freshwater mussel conservation.
In addition, Captina Falls, the world’s first Matting RallyRACER® with FlyingSAUCER® 8 features, offers excitement in a fast-paced, side-by-side mat racer format.
Since Zoombezi Bay opened in 2008, ProSlide has been a creative and technical partner, delivering signature attractions like the TORNADO® 60, CannonBOWL®, and ProRACER®.
Consequently, Conservation Tower marks a new milestone in their 17-year collaboration in creating a purpose-driven guest experience found nowhere else. Zoombezi Bay covers 22.7-acre in total, overseen by Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Powell, Ohio.
